Principal's Message 2012-13
Welcome to A.J.Schmidt Elementary School!
The staff and I are looking forward to working with you and your children this year. We will strive to continue to provide a rewarding and high quality educational program where each and every child has the opportunity to succeed.
Last year was a fun, productive and exciting year at AJ Schmidt. I anticipate another great year with even greater improvements. Our biggest change is the new NYS Common Core Curriculum that is in place this year. The new curriculum promises to bring deep understanding and success for students.
I have seen proof positive that when caring adults work together, our children benefit emotionally, socially and academically. I encourage parents to join us at Open House to begin a positive relationship with your child's teacher and urge you to stay connected throughout the year. AJ Schmidt Elementary is a wonderful family-oriented school because we all make it that way - by working together toward success.
