The Process
Apply
Fill out the application via SchoolSpring. It only takes a few minutes to start your journey.
Interview
Meet our transportation team to discuss routes, schedules, and your future with the District.
Train
Earn while you learn. Complete our fully paid CDL training and get certified to drive.
$2,000 Total Reward
Split equally between the Referrer and the New Hire.
The Referrer
For current Teamsters members.
The Driver
For hires starting Mar 1, 2026.
Strict Program Rules
- Referral Cards: Must be given to the candidate before they apply.
- Application: Referrer must be named on the initial SchoolSpring form.
- Status: Drivers must maintain "Good Standing" (no disciplinary suspensions).
- Flexibility: Permanent or substitute time counts toward the 9-month requirement.
- Retention: Referrers must be active at the time of payout.
- Sunset: Program applies to drivers hired by June 30, 2027.
