Notice for Uncertified Applicants: If the portal requires a certification upload, please upload a document stating "Uncertified" to complete your submission.
NYS Substitute Teacher Categories:
1. Certified: Valid NYS teaching certificates. Unlimited employment days.
2. Working Toward Certification: Completing at least six semester hours per year. Unlimited employment days.
3. Uncertified: Not working toward certification. Limited to 40 days per school district per year.
