2026-27 Enrollment & Eligibility

Welcome to the Lake Shore Central School District. To ensure a smooth transition for our newest Eagles, please review the following eligibility requirements and documentation standards.

In accordance with New York State guidelines, children must be five years of age on or before December 1, 2026 to be eligible for Kindergarten enrollment for the upcoming school year.

The following original documents must be presented at the time of your registration appointment. Copies will be made on-site for our records:

1. Proof of Age: Original Birth Certificate, Baptismal Record, or valid Passport.
2. Immunization Records: An official record signed by a licensed physician or health clinic.
3. Proof of Residency (Two Forms Required): Acceptable documents include a mortgage statement, signed lease agreement, utility bill (water, electric, or gas), or a recent property tax bill. Note: A driver's license is not accepted as a primary proof of residency.

Step 1: Pre-register by calling the District Registrar at 716-926-2217 to request a registration packet.
Step 2: Complete all forms within the packet and gather your required original documents.
Step 3: Schedule and attend your in-person registration appointment at the District Office to finalize enrollment.
