Lake Shore High School Homecoming Week
ANGOLA, NY – Lake Shore High School's Homecoming Week runs Friday, Sept. 25 through Saturday, Oct. 3, with events all week and five Spirit Days from Sept. 28 to Oct. 2.
This Week's Events
- Fri 9/25: Hallway Decorating, 3:00-9:00 PM, Hallways
- Mon 9/28: Community Service (Lake Shore Cares), all day, off campus
- Tue 9/29: Game Night, 6:00-8:00 PM, Media Center (HS students only)
- Wed 9/30: Class and Club Float Prep, 4:00 PM
- Thu 10/1: Powder Puff, 3:30-6:30 PM, Football Field
- Thu 10/1: HS Carnival, 6:00-8:30 PM, East Side Lot (HS students only)
- Fri 10/2: Pep Rally, 1:00-2:30 PM, LSHS
- Sat 10/3: Homecoming Dance, 7:00-10:00 PM, HS Gym
Spirit Days
- Monday, Sept. 28: Bikers vs. Surfers Day. Leather and denim, or boardshorts. Pick a side.
- Tuesday, Sept. 29: Fairy Tale Day. Dress as a hero, villain, sidekick, or creature.
- Wednesday, Sept. 30: Orange Shirt Day / Wigged Out Wednesday. Wear a wig, and wear orange as a reminder that every child matters, every day.
- Thursday, Oct. 1: Class Color Day. Wear your class color head to toe.
- Friday, Oct. 2: Green and White Day. Full Eagle colors for the parade and the game.
Most of Homecoming Week is for our students, but Friday, Oct. 2 is for everyone. Come cheer on the Eagles.
Community Homecoming Parade • Open to the Public
Friday, Oct. 2, 5:00 PM
Starts at Village Hall on Commercial Street, heads down Main Street, and ends at the High School near the athletic entrance. Larger floats continue through the Middle School to exit. Grab a spot on Main Street in the Village of Angola and cheer everyone on.
Varsity Football Homecoming Game vs. Amherst Central • Open to the Public
Friday, Oct. 2, 6:30 PM, Football Field
Come break in the new grandstands and cheer on the Eagles for Homecoming.
Important:
Students must have attended the Drug & Alcohol Forum to be eligible for Saturday's Homecoming Dance.
