Lake Shore Celebrates Culture and Creativity at Indigenous Makers Faire

Families, students, and community members braved the first snow of the season for an unforgettable evening at the Indigenous Makers Faire, held at Lake Shore Senior High School.
The event celebrated Native American Heritage Month, showcasing Indigenous creativity, culture, and community through art, music, and hands-on activities. Guests enjoyed live dance performances, Indigenous-themed crafts and demonstrations, bird exhibits, and food from Bull Riders BBQ and The Falls Frying Group.
Thank you to everyone who attended and to the many talented makers, performers, and educators who shared their traditions and stories. Your contributions made this celebration of culture, creativity, and community a true success.
