Lake Shore Students Connect with Local Businesses at Chamber Networking Event

Students from Lake Shore’s Academy of Business and Finance and Eagles Manufacturing programs attended the Southtowns Chamber of Commerce networking event at Cala’s Kitchen on Thursday morning. The event offered a hands-on opportunity for students to meet local business owners, practice professional communication skills, and share the innovative work happening in their programs.
Academy Director Danielle Arnone and senior Kayla Friend represented the Academy of Business and Finance. Business Teacher Abigail Widger and senior Cole Hart represented Eagles Manufacturing. Together, they highlighted current projects, discussed their career interests, and strengthened connections with members of the local business community.
The Chamber event provided a meaningful space for students to expand their networks and learn from industry professionals. Lake Shore looks forward to continuing these partnerships through future events, guest speakers, and collaborative opportunities that support student growth and real-world learning.
