Register Today: UPK Spots are Filling Fast for the 2026-27 School Year
One Step Closer: UPK Enrollment Reaches 50% Milestone
ANGOLA, NY — The Lake Shore Central School District is officially halfway to its enrollment goal for the 2026-2027 Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program.
As of this week, the District has filled half of the available seats for its youngest learners. The UPK program, hosted across our elementary buildings at A.J. Schmidt, Highland, and J.T. Waugh, serves as the critical first chapter in the Lake Shore experience. By providing a high-quality, supportive environment, the District ensures that every child is rooted in the social and academic foundations needed to succeed as they grow into future Eagles.
Why Enroll Now?
While the school year is still months away, securing a spot early allows the District to finalize transportation routes, classroom sections, and staffing to ensure a seamless transition for families. The UPK curriculum is designed to spark curiosity through play-based learning, early literacy, and community building, all within the familiar surroundings of our neighborhood schools.
