Lake Shore Student-Athletes Excel at Regional Special Olympics Competition

ANGOLA, NY – Lake Shore Central School District student-athletes achieved outstanding individual and team success at the Special Olympics competition held on May 30th. Demonstrating exceptional teamwork, unity, and determination, the local team delivered a spectacular series of performances across multiple track and field events.
The team competed under the leadership of Special Education Teacher and Coach Jennifer Linsley, alongside student assistant Kryslinn Hamilton. Weeks of dedicated preparation culminated in authentic athletic achievement and strong sportsmanship on the field, exemplifying the core community values of Lake Shore Senior High School.
Among the individual highlights, Lucas Rivera completed an absolute sweep of his division, securing 1st place finishes in all three of his scheduled competitions. Jaison Crisp also delivered a standout performance on the track, earning two 1st place victories and a strong 3rd place finish.
In the field events, Brian David achieved top honors with a 1st place finish in the Standing Long Jump. He followed that achievement by securing both a 3rd place and a 5th place finish in his remaining competitive tiers.
