CAO of WNY to Host Community Resource Day in Angola
ANGOLA, NY — April 20, 2026
The Lake Shore Central School District is pleased to announce an upcoming partnership opportunity for local families through the Community Action Organization (CAO) of WNY. On Wednesday, April 22, the CAO will host a Community Resource Day at their Angola facility located at 251 N. Main St. The event is scheduled to run from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
This initiative is designed to provide immediate support to our neighbors by distributing free produce and baby formula. In addition to food resources, CAO representatives will be on-site to assist residents with applications for rental and utility assistance, helping families manage essential household costs.
To ensure a smooth process for all attendees, the CAO requires specific documentation. Every participant must present a photo ID or driver’s license, along with identification for all members of their household. Those seeking financial aid for rent or utilities are encouraged to arrive with the necessary paperwork already prepared.
“We are grateful to have such dedicated partners in our community who look out for our students and their families,” said Jim Montour, District PR Specialist. “This event is a true reflection of the 'One Lake Shore' spirit—neighbors helping neighbors.”
